The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) has published a new publication, in collaboration with the Personal Data Protection Commission and the Singapore Police Force, to highlight the differences between the Cybersecurity Act, the Computer Misuse Act and the Personal Data Protection Act.

Called an “Overview of Legislations on Cybersecurity, Personal Data Protection & Computer Misuse”, the e-handbook released on 25 November 2021 introduces these legislations and offers some useful case studies, including scenarios of cyber attacks, data breaches and computer misuse, to advise which agencies to approach and notify for each case.

This e-handbook aims to assist organisations and individuals in better securing their computer systems and to notify the correct agencies if an adverse event should occur.
